I also think that Data Merge might work if I could have between 1000 or 2000 columns in my data set, as row 1 would be my main text frame and each column would be every variable I want to control. It's a 'pretty' price book, as it is used not just for function of delivering information, it is also used as a marketing tool in the field.Ĭould I make each product it's own card using data merge, and then lay out all the cards into a price book? I have everything set up in pretty much a single threaded text frame with columns and headers. I don't need a bunch of identical cards, I need several items of different length on the same page.

Last year I gave up on my search and just did everything by hand.
